The Senior Vice President of SGI , Dr. Wei Yen, continued to partner with Nintendo even after he left SGI in 1995.
One of their partnership results was iQue, Nintendo's distributor in China.
Had SGI cooperated with Sega and not Nintendo, iQue wouldn't have existed.
Nintendo might have found someone else to startup a distributor in China, but that would be on a total different timeline.
We wouldn't know if that timeline is better or worse.
