"I only uploaded 2 of the threats I received, but I actually got 6 or 7 of them, one of them swearing a revenge after the trend dies down. I was SMS-bombed for 10 days, and received packages including living things and Hell Money."

*Hell Money is used in Chinese tradition as a form of sending fortune to the deceased. Sending a living person Hell Money is basically the Chinese equivalent of cursing someone to die and go to hell.

The color triangle on the bottom left of the back cover of Asian Wii games indicate their origin:
Grey: Hong Kong
Green: Korea
Purple: Taiwan

The same triangle can also be seen on the back of the instruction booklets.

Thanks for the heads up! I do have one Wii game with country code (MDE) but I do not have access to it at the moment. Do you know in which countries are these games designated for sale?

As for the Nintendo 3DS and Nintendo Switch, the blue triangle is assigned to both Hong Kong and Taiwan as both regions now fall under a single abbreviation "CHT" (Were HKG and TWN respectively in the Wii era).

The colored triangles are probably just to differ distributors other than signal differences in games.
Hong Konger and Taiwanese Wii game disks are identical in data.

Taiwan yes. HK no, aside from a warning sticker required for 18+ games, but that was not require to be printed onto the cover.

Replying to @NintenBruhs

Yes. However, some CHT games sold in HK do not have rating symbols, like Super Smash Bros. Ultimate.

Despite having Simplified Chinese introduction text and images, the EULA is not yet available in the language.
Attempting to load the zh-CN EULA will result in loading the Japanese language version.

Context: Some Chinese users of Dr. Mario World were angry that the game plays in Simplified Chinese but not having China as an available country.
Currently no Nintendo-account related smartphone games are officially out in China.

如果沒有連接Nintendo Account,就需要主動選擇國家/地區。連接Nintendo Account的話是使用Nintendo Account的國家/地區設定。

Yes, and it was exactly how these 1-star reviews could reach Google Play Store. These individuals simply felt "insulted" for Nintendo not including their country.

Exactly. Feeling unhappy is one thing, but actively bomb reviewing is another.
I haven't checked the Chinese language review session myself but I hope these were just sporadic examples.

Unused text from iQue 3DSXL System Settings (possibly parental controls) mentions the (cancelled) iQue eShop.
[Text extracted by @jhynjhiruu.]

Most importantly, the last line reads:
“This setting will be in effect when the iQue eShop goes live.”
Which it never did.
