I personally believe the word "revolution" here describes the rotational paths the balls and flame take. However, the Chinese translated revolution as the political upheaval, not the rotational.
So "旋转球"/"旋转火焰" might be a better fit.

The train running on Dry Dry Railroad in the original Paper Mario is called K64, a reference to the Nintendo 64 console.
The same train is called iQue (神游号) in the Chinese version, an obvious reference to the iQue Player.

Laws on software distribution I guess. The Subor's technically just hardware, but a Famicom classic contains software, which could require conforming to Chinese laws if desired to sell in China. Seems that both consumers and Nintendo are fine with importing from HK for now.

Rosalina & Luma's debut game "Super Mario Galaxy" was written out in Chinese in the S. Chinese version of the game, but English in T. Chinese.
One possible explanation is that the game is only out in S. Chinese, on the Nvidia Shield.

Dr. Mario 64: The Music Player only has the game "Dr. Mario", not Dr. Mario 64. However, since there are only 2 localized Dr. Mario games ever (the other being Dr. Mario Express), and the official Chinese name is still in, I think it I should count Dr. Mario 64.

When it comes to Mario Galaxy in SSB Ultimate, only "Super Mario Galaxy" is translated in S. Chinese, and only "Super Mario Galaxy 2" is translated in T. Chinese.
This is probably because SMG is only released in China, while SMG2 is only released in HK/TW.

Donkey Kong Country Returns and Metroid Prime are the two of the few games that have an S. Chinese translation without the game actually released in S. Chinese.
This could be strong evidence that these two games are on their way to a Nvidia Shield release.

I personally doubt how much effort iQue is putting into the NVIDIA SHIELD business. iQue had plans to release the Wii before it was killed by the console ban. Many games were translated already back then, just never got to release.

His SC name is 酷霸王 (Pronounced Kù Bà Wáng)
Kuba can be thought of as the transliteration of Koopa, and 王 means King. But another way to interpret it (which is what Google likely did in this case) is 酷 = Cool, 霸王 = tyrant, overlord.
I guess you can say the SC name is a pun.

The ban was put into effect in 2000. iQue did successfully got their GBA and DS consoles into China, so that's why they made such a consideration.
