It's really hard to find perfect saves for Traditional Chinese Wii games, but fortunately, most of them work with US versions of saves directly.
(Literally just drag and drop the NTSC-U save file over NTSC-T ones)

That's a very good question. As you may or may not know, Nintendo Wii hardware/software sold in Hong Kong/Macau/Taiwan are region locked the same as Japanese regions, meaning that Japanese Wii games can be played directly on Taiwan Wii consoles, and vice versa (including Wii U).

If you press A while aiming at the pull star in the original version, Mario will get pulled towards it and will not be able to jump. In the Shield version, the Jump action and the pullstar action are bounded to different buttons.

It's very likely they are. The T. Chinese version was released 7 years before the S. Chinese version. I haven't gone through translation names in details, but as far as I see, they're largely identical(aside from existing S./T. Chinese differences for certain character names).

If you play Super Mario Run in T. Chinese (there's no S. Chinese availability), you will see a font similar to the one in the one used for S. Chinese NSMBW. The T. Chinese NSMBW just uses the global "edgy" Mario font.

The Taiwanese Wii hardware itself is identical to the Japanese version, sans the Forecast and News Channels and a working Wii Shop Channel, so the console itself is Japanese only. The Taiwanese Wii games are in Chinese, and playable on a Taiwanese Wii or a Japanese Wii/Wii U.

*Only the western version has Chinese options, the Japanese version, Monster Hunter XX, does not.
