True. I'd say that the fan translators just got lucky. They picked the "Wa" part of Wario (瓦) and appended the name of Luigi (路易吉). This happened to be the exact official translation of Waluigi.Sat Aug 11 21:44:35 +0000 2018

I have yet to proof read their game, but it seems that they really put efforts into making the fan translation as close to an authentic one.
