The iQue versions were estimated to have produced only around 10K units. Most Nintendo 3DS users in China did not buy the iQue version due to region locking (most bought the Japanese version for a larger game library).

Detective Pikachu demo from any region has Chinese support, as with the final game.
Most 3DS owners in China have non-iQue 3DS family system so it won't be an issue.

Despite being official distributions, there are typos in the translation.
Super Mario Land 2 was mistranslated as "Mario World Episode 2".
Donkey Kong was also translated as "Orangutan king", and is not the same as future iQue translations.
